Marian J. Brensinger

Marian J. Brensinger, 88, a resident of Landis Homes, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. She was the wife of the late J. Daniel Brensinger who died in 2003. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Paul D. and Mabel May Plank.

Marian was a graduate of New Holland High School, the Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. She had been employed as a Registered Nurse at Lancaster General Hospital, Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, and then finished her working career as a nurse in the Conestoga Valley School District. Marian was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading and earlier in life enjoyed cooking and traveling to the New England States.

Surviving are two daughters, Jill wife of Jeffrey Trimbath of Crofton, MD and Kelly wife of Philip Horning of Adamstown; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a sister, Linda wife of J. Ronald “Bud” Martin of Easton. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Gordon Plank.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 3, at 11:00 AM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA. Friends may greet the family at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family in the Paradise Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church.
