Marian Florence Miller

Marian F. Miller, 101, of New Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 14, 2018.

She was the wife of the late Roy G. Miller who passed away in 1974. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Ivan H. and Florence V. Huyard Stone.

Marian had a love for flowers. She enjoyed growing and arranging flowers for her church, Pilgrim Bible Church, and in the New Holland Fair. Known to many as the Flower Lady, she won countless ribbons and many Best-Of-Show ribbons in the fair for 50 plus years.

She was a loving and giving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

Surviving is a daughter, Phyllis J. Witman of Leola; five sons, R. Lee of New Holland, Glen R. married to Mary Ellen Miller of Ft. Myers, FL, Frederick I. married to Rose Miller of Lititz, Barry A. married to Dorothy Miller of New Holland, and Dennis R. Miller of New Holland. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 20 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Mabel Weaver of Lititz, Hazel Spence of Mount Joy, and Constance Adams of Blue Ball; and a brother Kenneth Stone of New Holland. She was preceded in death by a daughter Shirley Ann Eaby wife of George Eaby and by siblings, Ralph, Kathryn, Evelyn, Mary, Ivan, Charlotte and Janet.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, at 11:00 A.M. at Pilgrim Bible Church, 5367 Paes Road, New Holland, PA with the Rev. Dr. Norman Griess officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment in the Zeltenreich Cemetery. In celebration of Marian’s love of flowers, floral tributes are welcome.
