Marian A. Nolt

Marian A. Nolt, 100, of 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland died Monday, May 7, 2018 at Garden Spot Village. Her husband, Lloyd S. Nolt preceded her in death in 1984.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Noah and Mabel (Martin) Weaver.

Marian was a homemaker who spent much time helping those less fortunate through her involvement with Meals on Wheel, the Re-Uzit Shop of New Holland, the New Holland Early Learning Center, and the Garden Spot Village and New Holland Mennonite Sewing Circles. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting and ceramics.

She was a member of New Holland Mennonite Church.

Surviving are three sons: Richard married to Patsy (Schlouch) Nolt, Rehoboth Beach, DE; Barry married to Barbara (Yoder) Nolt, New Holland; James Nolt, Lititz; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three siblings: Earl Weaver, Lester Weaver, and Edna Bowman.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 10 at Noon at the Garden Spot Village Chapel, 433 S. Kinzer Ave., New Holland with Chaplain Chet Yoder officiating.
