Marian W. Zimmerman

Marian W. Zimmerman, 87, formerly of Myerstown, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 21, at Lincoln Christian Home, Ephrata. She was the wife of the late Amos M. Zimmerman.

She was born December 10, 1930 in Earl Township to the late Eli B. and Mary Ellen (Martin) Zimmerman.

She was a member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.

She is survived by two sons, Clair Z. (Anna Mary Kurtz) Weaver of Narvon, and Steven Z. (Fay Martin Weaver of Newmanstown; four daughters, Marie Z. (Mark Nolt) of Ephrata, Julia Z. (Eric Deppen) of Elizabethtown, Pearl Z. (Curtis Hoover) of Manheim, and Phyllis Z. (John Fry) of Ephrata; 25 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond Zimmerman; and four sisters, Kathryn (Milton) Horst, Mary Jane (Isaac) Musser, Edna Mae Oberholtzer, and Sylvia (Harold) Martin. Also Surviving are seven step-children, Earl (Ruth) Zimmerman, Cynthia (Leroy) Zimmerman, George (Margaret) Zimmerman, Leon (Donna) Zimmerman, Lester (Marian) Zimmerman, Jane (Warren) Zimmerman, and Ann (Leland) Martin.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George M. Weaver, who passed away in 1984, two infant grandsons and a sister, Anna Frances (Zimmerman) Wenger.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Martindale Reception Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata, PA 17522. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 8:45 A.M. at the Lincoln Christian Home with further services at 9:30 A.M. at Weaverland Mennonite Church, 1116 Weaverland Road, East Earl, PA 17519. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
