She was employed by Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center for over 30 years as a housekeeper, nurse’s aide and activity aide. She also worked at Maurice Moyers Butcher Shop and Ciotti’s Bakery. Marie’s family was the joy of her life. She loved cooking all their favorite meals. Sunday lunches at Mom Mom’s were the highlight of the week for the whole family. She loved preparing for and spending the holidays with them especially Christmas Eve which was a special event for all. She also enjoyed canning, making crafts and collecting angels. She was known for her quirky sayings and rhymes. She will be greatly missed by all. But we will be comforted by the fact that we have a guardian angel who is “Fine and Dandy like Sugar Candy” in God’s arms.
Family requests that you wear purple to her services. She was way too beautiful and colorful for black. In lieu of flowers. Marie wanted donations made to Robeson Lutheran Church.
