Marjorie Hope Milbourne

Marjorie H. Milbourne (95) of New Holland and formerly of Newtown Square passed into the loving arms of her Savior on September 5, 2025 at Garden Spot Village. She was born July 8, 1930 to the late Roy H Hope and Mildred (Harrigan) Hope in Delaware County.


She graduated from Lower Merion High School and Wheaton College (IL) where she met her loving husband, Howard Milbourne. They enjoyed 58 years together until his death in 2010. They enjoyed travel, camping, going cross-country three times and visiting all the lower 48 states.


Marjorie treasured spending time with family. A woman of deep faith, she was a prayer-warrior and delighted in participating in worship and Bible study. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and playing games.


She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Rita) and Mark (Nancy), daughter-in-law Linda, grandchildren Andrew, Timothy, Laura, Grace, Gregory, Jonathan and Kate, and great-grandchildren Wesley and Maxwell.


She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas (Linda) and Jonathan, and brothers Robert Hope and John Hope.


A memorial service will be held October 4 at 1:30 pm in the Garden Spot Village Chapel in New Holland. Memorial donations may be made to Wheaton College for the Thomas H.
