Mark Douglas Keller

Mark Douglas Keller went to be with his Savior at his home in Denver, PA, on December 14, 2020, at the age of 55 after a long, valiant battle with cancer. Mark is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Nicole (Tilley) Keller; his mother, Ruby (Gebhart) Keller; his sisters, Ruthann (Barry) Cooper and Paula (Brian) Anderson; niece Erin (Gene) Williams; nephew Nathan Anderson; his in-laws, Arthur and Jane Tilley, Michelle (Billy) (and William) Uelze, Rachael (Derrick) Reiton, and Arthur Tilley, as well his great nieces and nephews.

Mark was born on March 3, 1965, in Harrisburg, PA, to Ruby Keller and the late Ned Keller. He graduated from Northumberland Christian School in 1983 Eastern University in 1990. Mark proudly served his country with the U.S. Border Patrol from 1997 until his retirement in 2018 after 21 years of service at both the Harlingen, TX and Erie, PA Border Patrol Stations. He was both an expert marksman and a certified Firearms Instructor with the Patrol and shared his love of shooting and knowledge of firearms with many other agents throughout his career. He attended Pine Grove Church in Bowmansville, PA.

Mark is remembered for his love of the Border Patrol and his fellow Patrol Agents as well as his passion the Old West and Western films, firearms, the U.S. Constitution, Bigfoot, Ronald Reagan, his cats, his dry witty sense of humor, and his desire to please his Lord Jesus Christ.

Mark will be interred in a graveside ceremony at Pine Grove Church, 1194 Reading Road, in Bowmansville, PA on Monday, December 21st at 11:30 AM. The U.S. Border Patrol Honor Guard will recognize Mark’s dedication to his country with a casket watch and the presentation of colors at the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and honor Mark. Following the service there will be a grab-and-go lunch provided at the church.
