Marlene Myrna Dyer

Marlene Myrna Dyer, 76, of New Holland, died, Saturday April 14, 2018 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Millway, PA, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Coreta (Smith) Hollinger. She was married 56 years on Nov. 18 to Beryl A. Dyer.

Marlene worked as a clerk at Dollar General in New Holland. She was a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church and enjoyed taking photos, reading, and cooking.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Beryl Dyer of New Holland; and two sisters, Ethel, married to Leonard Fake of Akron, and Barbara, married to Gary Bonebrake of Oneonta, NY.

Preceding her in death is a sister, Janet Harnish.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 2:00 pm at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland with visitation from 1-2 pm.
