Martha E. Asquith

Martha A. (Reynolds) Asquith, 87, a resident of Zerbe Retirement Community, passed away on June 27, 2024.

Born in Brandywine Township, she was the daughter of the late Bethel James and Annabelle (O’dell) Reynolds.

She was the wife of the late William “Bill” N. Asquith, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage until the time of his passing on January 22, 2012.

She had previously managed Spring Gulch Campground. She enjoyed playing bingo and listening to country music.

Martha is survived by her sons, Larry Steve Ireland husband of Jenny, William James Asquith husband of Dawn, Glen Matthew Asquith husband of Minnie and David Lee Asquith husband of Kathy, 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Edward Nelson Asquith, one grandson and her sister, Helen Ruggeri.

Interment will be held in Memory Gardens. No services will be held at this time.

Groff High Funeral Home in New Holland is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
