Martha Weaver Zimmerman

Martha W. (Nolt) Zimmerman, 92, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at home.

She was born on February 11, 1933 to the late Noah Z. and Lizzie Weaver) Nolt.

She was the wife of Irvin M. Zimmerman, with whom she shared 70 years of marriage.

She was a homemaker and a member of Martindale Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference).

In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven sons, Leon and Susan (Good) Zimmerman, Ephrata, Melvin and Sarah (Brubaker) Zimmerman, Womelsdorf, Lester and Sharon (Shirk) Zimmerman, Narvon, Chester and Earla (Martin) Zimmerman, Denver, Irvin Ray and Esther (Martin) Zimmerman, Carlisle, Carl and Mary (High) Zimmerman, Wisconsin, Eugene and Bernice (Nolt) Zimmerman, Ephrata and five daughters, Mabel and Alvin Martin, Missouri, Marion and Edwin Martin, Myerstown, Marlene and Harvey Martin, Fleetwood, Martha and Nevin Hoover, Ephrata, Mary Jane and Kervin Weaver, Fleetwood and a daughter in law, Nancy (Martin) Zimmerman, Denver, eighty four grandchildren, two hundred forty five great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and sister in law, Lydia Nolt.

She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Zimmerman, one granddaughter, ten great grandchildren and nine siblings, Lizzie, Clayton, Katie, Annie, Emma, Jonas, Menno, Jacob and Frances.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at a 9:30 AM at Martindale Mennonite Church, 905 Martindale Road, Ephrata PA 17522 with Bishop Amos G. Martin officiating. Viewings will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martindale Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata PA, 17522.
