Martin R. Lambert, 89, of Sandstone Lane, Narvon, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Conestoga View, Lancaster. His wife Ruth B. (Sweitzer) Lambert died in 1992.
Born in Caernarvon Twp., Lancaster Co., he was the son of the late Ralph N. and Daisey (Kring) Lambert. Martin served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He was a member of Mt. Culmen E.C. Church, East Earl.
Martin had been a farmer and lumberman and was a carpenter as well. He enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, and hunting.
He is survived by his daughter Linda L., married to Leon M. Boyer of Narvon, two grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Regina B. Clark.
Friends may call at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill, on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 2 – 3 p.m. with a graveside service at 3:15 p.m. at the Mt. Culmen E.C.
