Martin G. Weaver

Martin G. Weaver, 91, of Denver, passed away on September 11, 2025, at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation. Martin was born in East Earl, to his late parents, Martin M. Weaver and Rachael (Good) Weaver. His beloved wife, Annie L. (Martin) Weaver, passed away on February 22, 2003.

Martin will be fondly remembered as a man who loved his family deeply. He worked as a truck driver for Weavers Chicken, Tyson’s Chicken and then Valley Protein later in life. His career as a truck driver spanned 36 years. In his spare time, Martin enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a 50-year volunteer with Fivepointville Ambulance Association. He and his family were members of Red Run Mennonite Church in Denver.

Surviving is one child, Eilene S. Zimmerman, of Denver, his grandsons, Brian Zimmerman and his wife Kelly (Finucane) Zimmerman, of Phoenixville, Travis Zimmerman and his wife Lisa (Matthews) Zimmerman, of North Port, FL, Jesse Zimmerman and his wife Bethany, of Reading, Calvin Zimmerman, of Ephrata, and Kennan Zimmerman and his wife Samantha (Garman) Zimmerman, of Elkton, MD. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Kayla, Cyprus, Rose, Jonah, Annie, Eli, Addie, Tristan, Zemira, Zavian and Zelene.

In addition to his wife and parents, Martin was predeceased by his sisters, Esther Good and Verna Weaver.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at Red Run Mennonite Church, 987 Martin Church Road, Denver, PA, with Pastor Kevin Weaver officiating. Viewings will be held at the church on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will occur immediately following the funeral in the adjoining church cemetery.
