Marvin L. Gingrich, age 80, went to meet his Lord on March 18, 2024. He resided at Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation. He previously lived in Terre Hill and Ephrata. He had also lived in Portland, OR for two years while serving in 1-W service. He was the husband of Mary Ellen (Weber) Gingrich.
Born in Lancaster County, he was the son of the late David C. and Fannie (Wenger) Gingrich and step-son to the late Katie (Weaver) Gingrich Lefever.
He worked many years in concrete plants at New Holland Concrete and Pipe and Terre Hill Concrete.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, a son Brian L. (Charlene) Gingrich, Chambersburg and a daughter Debra L. (Joseph) Weber, Mifflintown, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Henry and Lloyd (Rachel) Gingrich.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 3:30 p.m. at Bowmansville Mennonite Church, 129 Pleasant Valley Rd., East Earl. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. Burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation, 900 E.
