Mary Ann Martin

Mary Ann Martin left this world on Oct 11 2022 surrounded by her family

in her 79th year. She was the daughter of the late Ira Lester Henly and

Mae Youndt Henly,and grew up in Fivepointville. Mary Ann married Thomas

R Martin on May 25th 1963, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage

until his passing in 2018. She graduated from Garden Spot High School

in 1961, and Millersville University in 1966, and became a teacher in

the Quarryville School District. She did extensive genealogy research,

loved travelling in the Western US, her favourite place being the

Tetons. She captured the beauty of these places in her photography,

winning many contests for her pictures. She enjoyed her flower gardens,

dollhouses, books, Scottish festivals, and many other crafts. Most of

all, she loved and enjoyed her family members, always excited to spend

time with them and cheer them on to their achievements. Surviving her

is daughter Suzanne E Martin of East Earl, son Joseph W Martin of East

Earl, grandson Jonathan Martin of Fivepointville, granddaughter Sara

Winona Quigley married to Oliver M Cox of East Earl.
