Mary B. Good

Mary B. Good, 94, of 917 Eshelman Dr., Akron, formerly of Bowmansville, died Tuesday, April 3 at Hospice of Lancaster County, Mt. Joy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman M. Good in 1973.

Born in Bowmansville, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Sally (Burkhart) Hurst.

Mary was a homemaker and the oldest member of Pine Grove Mennonite Church, which she faithfully supported throughout her life.

Surviving are three children: Leonard R. married to Barbara A. (Rudy) Good, Bowmansville; Norma J. Boyer, with whom she resided; and Audrey L. Sensenig, Lancaster; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; a brother John Hurst of Kansas and a sister Esther White of Ephrata.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sally Susan and Mary Catherine Good, a sister, and seven brothers.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2 PM at the Pine Grove Mennonite Church with Pastor Jonathan Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
