Mary B. Martin, 88, of 742 Twin Hill Road, New Holland, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 at her home.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ada (Burkholder) Hoover. She was married 67 years to Eli S. Martin.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 10 children, Etta Martin, Ruth Martin, Lucinda Martin, and Lucy married to Nathan Nolt, all of New Holland, Lydia, married to Raymond Shirk of Ephrata, Joseph, married to Vera (Martin) Martin, John, married to Verna (Wenger) Martin, Rachel, married to Raymond Hoover, and Ellen, married to Titus Shirk, all of Dundee, NY, and Sara, married to Melvin Sauder of Latham, MO; 64 grandchildren; and 89 great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is a son, Ivan Martin; a great grandson, Jeremiah Zimmerman; and three sisters, Anna Zimmerman, Maggie Nolt, and Katie Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at 9 am at the late home with further services at 9:30 am at the Martindale Mennonite Church with the Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the late home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Kindly omit flowers. Arrangements by Eckenroth Home for Funerals, Terre Hill.
