Mary L. Brill

Mary L. Brill, 94, formerly of New Holland, died Saturday, December 08, 2018 at Conestoga View. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin I. “Marty” Brill in 1995.

Born in Walker Twp., Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late Girdon and Pearl (Carvell) Nearhood.

Mary was a supervisor in the Cutting Department at the former William Carter’s Clothing in Leola.

During World War II, she served as a Postal Clerk in the Army Air Force. She was a member of the American Legion, Conestoga Post #662, New Holland and had attended Evangelical United Methodist Church, New Holland.

Surviving are five step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two step-sons: Robert E. Brill and Richard G. Brill.

Private burial will be held at the Evangelical United Methodist Cemetery, New Holland.
