Mary S. Brubaker

Mary S. Brubaker, 65, of 135 Laurel Rd., East Earl, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at her home. Her husband of 44 years, Ivan S. Brubaker, survives.

Born in East Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Annie M. (Shirk) Weaver and Reuben B. Weaver of East Earl.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Bowmansville Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by six children: Harlan married to Marian H. (Sauder) Brubaker, Denver; James married to Marianne M. (Fox) Brubaker, Reinholds; Allen married to Miriam M. (Fox) Brubaker, Denver; Leroy married to Sue Ann (Shirk) Brubaker, Denver; Reba married to Eugene H. Martin, Pine Grove; Louise married to Michael Dean Brubaker, Bernville; 27 grandchildren; three siblings: Benjamin S. married to Ruth Ann (Hoover) Weaver, East Earl; Enos S. married to Dorothy (Fetters) Weaver, Lewistown; Esther S. married to Ervin S. Martin, East Earl.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lester W. Brubaker.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Ervin and Esther Martin home with further services at 9:30 a.m. at Bowmansville Mennonite Church with Bishop Elam Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 2- 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. at the home of Ervin and Esther Martin, 137 Laurel Rd., East Earl.
