Mary Alice Coryell

Mary Alice Coryell, 79, of 1395 Bowmansville Road, Lot 29, Denver, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 after a brief illness.

Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Roberts) Hiscock. Her first husband, William Streeper, died in 1977, and her second husband, William B. Coryell, died April 7, 2009.

Mary worked as a seamstress making aprons for many years and her husband sold them.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in New Holland and she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, reading, and playing cards.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth, married to Michael Irwin of Phoenixville, and Margaret Weidman, companion of Steven Bleistein of Bowmansville; a step-son, William J., married to Kathy Coryell of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Elizabeth Felt of Honey Brook.

Preceding her in death in addition to her husbands is a son, Robert Streeper; and a sister, Margaret Janos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 11 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water Street, New Holland, with the Reverend Pang J.S. Tcheou as celebrant. Interment will be in the Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, PA. Viewing will be held at the Church on Thursday from 10-11 am.
