Mary Esther Horst

Mary Esther Horst, 89, of 67 Allen Road, Ephrata, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at her home.

Born in Hinkletown, she was the daughter of the late Aaron S., Sr. and Anna M. (Mellinger) Horst.

Mary attended the PAI Adult Day Care Services and she enjoyed listening to Christian music, chocolate, home cooked food, traveling, musical shows, spending time with her brother Glenn, sitting on the deck in hot weather, and she had a good sense of humor.

Surviving are three brothers, Glenn M. Horst of Lancaster, Aaron M., married to Mildred (Martin) Horst of New Holland, and Harold M., married to Arlene (Eckert) Horst of Hinkletown; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, W. Lester and Clarence A. Horst; and a sister, Ruth N. Herr.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 9 at 11 am at the Hinkletown Mennonite Church, 2031 Division Hwy., Ephrata with the Reverend Jeffrey S. Horst officiating.
