Mary S. Martin

Mary S. Martin, 93, of Ephrata, PA, entered into rest at her residence on February 24, 2025.

She was the wife of the late Amos W. Martin. Born in Caernarvon Twp., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Sauder Nolt.

She was a member of the South Fairmount Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference.

Surviving is a son and seven daughters, Ella Martin of Harrisonburg, VA, Ruth Martin at home, Lucy wife of Noah Z. Shirk of Ephrata, Amos husband of Rebecca B. Leinbach Martin of Penn Yan, NY, Martha wife of Carl N. Shirk of Riceville, IA, Annetta wife of David Z. Fox of Stanley, NY, Louise wife of Willis S. Burkholder of Hopkinsville, KY, and Almeda wife of Elvin Z. Fox of Leola, 40 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Lena Z. Nolt of Fleetwood. She was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Martin, two grandchildren, Jolene Shirk and Galen Fox, and eight siblings, Ammon Nolt, Lydia Ann Hurst, Esther Martin, Elizabeth Nolt, Isaac Nolt, Martha Martin, Samuel Nolt, Jr, and Ivan Nolt.

A Funeral Service will held on Friday, February 28, at 1:30 P.M. at the Fleetwood Mennonite Church, 985 Fleetwood Lyons Road, Fleetwood, PA with Bishop Leon Zimmerman officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held at the Noah Shirk Residence, 220 Covered Bridge Road, Ephrata, PA, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
