Mary S. Miller

Mary S. Miller, 101, of Moravian Manor, Lititz, formerly of Leola, died Thursday, February 14 at Hospice and Community Care, Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Royer Miller in 1995.

Born in White Horse, Salisbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Emma (Kurtz) Snader.

Mary graduated from the former New Holland High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, especially for her granddaughters, gardening, crossword puzzles, and playing Pinochle and Scrabble.

She was a member of Zeltenreich Reformed Church.

Surviving are two sons: James R. married to Patricia M. Miller, Hillsborough, NJ and Richard L. married to Linda (Naylor) Miller, Leola; three granddaughters: Christine S. married to Jason Nauman, Leola; Kelly L. married to Vincent McNally, Mt. Joy; and Patricia L. Miller, Leola; and two brothers: Roland K. married to Pauline Snader, New Holland and Richard L. Snader, New Holland.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Edna Evans, Anna S. Harsh, Florence E. Kurtz, and Harry C. Snader.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland with Rev. Richard Thierolf officiating. Interment will follow in Zeltenreich Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
