Mary E. Schaeffer

Mary E. Schaeffer, 84, of Ephrata, formerly of Narvon, die Monday, August 8, 2016 at Fairmount Homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon J. Schaeffer, in 1992.

Born in Brecknock Twp., Berks Co., she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Elsie Mae (Wert) Schlouch.

Through the years, Mary worked at Graco and Hope Hosiery. She enjoyed crocheting items for her family and friends.

Surviving are two sons: Terry L. married to Mary (Messner) Schaeffer, Narvon and David L. married to Amy (Pellicone) Schaeffer, NC; two granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and two brothers: Harvey Schlouch, Jr. and James Schlouch, both of Narvon.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Schlouch.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with Pastor Larry Weber officiating.
