Mary S. Seymour

Mary S. Seymour, 79, of New Holland, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at home with family. She was raised in Baldwinsville, New York, daughter of the late Mack P. and Frances McMullen Storm. She attended Cornell University before marrying and raising a family. In midlife she earned an education degree from Millersville University and for twenty-five years was an elementary school teacher for Eastern Lancaster County School District. Teaching children was her passion.

In retirement she enjoyed the family camp at Seneca Lake, NY, skiing in Vermont, and her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, and doted on her Irish Setters. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Shaun A. Seymour of New Holland, and her three children and two grandchildren – daughter Sharon Seymour, of San Diego, CA, daughter Shannon DeSantis and her husband William, Granddaughters Hayley and Jillian, of Staten Island, NY, and son Shaun II of Ephrata.
