Mary Jane Wentz

Mary Jane Wentz, 98, of New Holland, died Sunday, October 20, 2013 at her home.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ernest H. and Liela (Frantz) Miller. Her husband, Thomas H. Wentz, died Nov. 19, 2000.

Mary Jane was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Holland. She was also a member of the Iris Club in Lancaster, the New Holland Auxiliary to Lancaster General Hospital, and the Women’s Club in New Holland.

She enjoyed gardening, horseback riding, playing in several card clubs, and was interested in her family.

Surviving is a son, Thomas H. Wentz, III, of New Holland; a sister, Sara Ann Wentz, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are two brothers, Donald and Robert Miller.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
