Marylou (Young) Hackley, 90, of Elverson, passed away peacefully in her residence on August 6, 2021 with her loving son and caregiver by her side.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Morey and Viola Gertrude (Maclean) Young.

She was the loving wife of the late Fred L. Lake III for twenty years. She was then married to the late Ralph Morris Hackley for eighteen loving years until the time of his passing in 1999.

She attended the former Katharine Gibbs School. She was employed as an interior designer for thirty years. She loved traveling with her husband, Ralph to France, among other global locations. Her favorite pastime was taking care of Ralph and making life comfortable for him, she was a very devoted and supportive wife.

Marylou is survived by her son; Fred L. Lake IV and a stepson; Eric W. Hackley. Also surviving is a grandson; Devin Lake husband of Megan Lake, two great granddaughters and one step great grandson.

In addition to her parents and her husbands, she is predeceased by her three-year-old son; Cameron Douglas Lake, who tragically passed away in 1966 from a drowning and her brother; Spencer Young.

Services will be held private at the convenience of the family. C. Stanley Eckenroth Home for Funerals is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
