Matthew P. Adams

Matthew P. Adams, 20, of New Holland, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Lancaster he was the son of Philip P., Jr. and Rebecca (Williamson) Adams of New Holland.

Matthew graduated in 2011 from Garden Spot High School. He was currently working at CB Structures, Inc. in New Holland. He was a member at the New Holland Rec. Center. His interests included running and staying healthy, sports, cars, bikes and girls. “Be yourself, everybody else is already taken.”

Surviving in addition to his parents is a sister, Angel Adams at home; a brother, Tyler Adams at home; the family dog, Ginger; paternal grandmother, Judith (Barr) Adams of Nanty Glo; maternal grandparents, Donald and Donna (Thiec) Williamson of Nanty Glo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Preceding him in death is his grandfather, Philip P. Adams, Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at 10 am at the Beck Funeral Home, 315 E. Main St., New Holland with the Reverend Dr. Douglas C. Bozung officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Monday from 6-8 pm and on Tuesday from 9-10 am at the Funeral Home.
