Mattie S. Stoltzfus

Mattie S. Stoltzfus, 92, of Ronks, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community.

She was married 69 years to Elam L. Stoltzfus. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Priscilla Kauffman.

Mattie was a homemaker and a member of the Millwood Mennonite Church.

Surviving are two sons, Samuel D. husband of Elaine Stoltzfus of Lancaster, and J. Ervin, Sr. husband of Susan Stoltzfus of Newport; two daughters, Jane wife of Scott Shenk of Ronks, and Priscilla C. wife of Paul Schwartz of Strasburg; nine grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Beiler of Sarasota, FL, and Anna wife of Samuel Stoltzfus of Jersey Shore, PA; four brothers, Levi husband of Nancy Kauffman of Lancaster, John husband of Sandy Kauffman of Womelsdorf, Melvin husband of Kallie Kauffman of Newville, and Samuel husband of Mary Kauffman of New Holland. She was preceded in death by a son Omar K. Stoltzfus, a granddaughter, Sadie Anne Stoltzfus, a great grandson Kerrick Dressler, and by brothers Daniel Kauffman, Jacob Kauffman, Omar Kauffman, and Amos Kauffman and an infant brother.

Funeral Services will be held at the Millwood Mennonite Church, 441 Amish Road, Gap, PA on Monday, March 26 at 1:00 P.M. Friends may call at the church on Sunday (TODAY) from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. and 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. and on Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
