Melvin W. Weaver

Melvin W. Weaver, 88, of Denver, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

He was the husband of Anna H. Hackert Weaver. Born in New Holland, he was the son of the late Aaron M. and Emma M. Weaver Weaver.

Melvin was a retired farmer and a member of the Martindale Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons, C. Glenn husband of Joyce Weaver of Lititz, and Ray Delmar husband of Christine Weaver of Reinholds; two daughters, Ann Louise wife of Earl Burkholder of Narvon, and Joy L. wife of Eugene Zeiset of Denver; a daughter-in-law, Jane Hurst Weaver of Beavertown; 23 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Weaver of Denver; and a brother, Irvin W. Weaver of Stevens. He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Melvin Weaver, a grandson, Joshua Weaver and by 8 siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 23, at 10:00 A.M. at the Martindale Mennonite Church, 905 Martindale Road, Ephrata, PA with Bishop Amos G. Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. A Viewing will be held on Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Farm Crest Chapel at Fairmount Homes, 1100 Fram Crest Drive, Ephrata, PA.
