Michael David Carrera

Michael D. Carrera, 50, of New Holland, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of Linda J. Clarke Carrera Delp of New Holland, and the late Richard Carrera. He was the step-son of Trent Delp.

Michael was a graduate of Garden Spot High School and was an Electrical Journeyman and had been a member of the IBEW. He was employed by Tyson Foods. Michael enjoyed riding his Harley, watching his favorite sports and listening to music.

Surviving besides his mother and step-father, are 2 brothers, Trent A. Delp, Sr., of East Earl, and Ryan C. Delp of New Holland; four sisters, Amy E. Delp of New Holland, Amanda J. Delp of New Holland, Sheree Connor of Lewes, DE and Chris D. Delp of Dallas, TX. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Viewing will be held at the Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA on Friday, July 13, from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Interment at 4:00 P.M. in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Middletown, PA.
