Michael L. Diem

Michael L. Diem, 42, of 227 Strawberry St., Leola, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at his home.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Barry L. Diem and the late Donna M. (Dombach) Diem.

Michael graduated from Millersville University and most recently was working in sales for Direct Wire & Cable in Denver.

He enjoyed languages and could speak French, Russian, and Spanish. He also enjoyed music, playing the bass guitar and listening to RUSH. The beach, traveling, friends, politics, and his Honda del Sol were other interests.

Surviving in addition to his father, Barry of Lancaster and his fiancé, Margy Depew of Mt. Joy, is a girlfriend, Beth.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Oct. 15 at 7 pm at the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland. The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm.
