Michael F Hopkins

Michael F. Hopkins, 93, formerly of New Holland, died Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Landis Homes. His wife, Ruth N. (Powers) Hopkins preceded him in death in 2012.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late James and Helen (Lynch) Hopkins.

Michael was a newspaper engraver and of the Catholic faith.

During World War II, he served in the Army.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michael in 1996.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Mountain View Cemetery, 2485 State Route 92, Harding, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
