Michael D. Walton

Michael Dean Walton, 52, of New Holland, peacefully entered into rest surrounded by his loving family on May 26, 2015.

Born in Chester County, he was a son of the late Thomas E. and Virginia P. Walton.

He had a love for pigs, and collected anything that had to do with them. He spent his free time playing bingo and going to auctions.

Surviving Michael are two brothers: Thomas H. Walton, husband of Kathy, of East Earl, and Robert E. Walton of Oxford; three sisters: Viginia "Winnie" Blank, wife of Alvin, Jr., of New Holland, Shirley A. Walton of East Earl, and Julia L. Walton of East Earl; two nephews: Thomas H. Walton, Jr., husband of Daphne, of Denver, and Tommy Walton, husband of Kristy, of Blue Ball; a niece, Felicia A. Walton, of Denver; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Toby T. Walton.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1, at 10 AM at the Meadville Mennonite Cemetery, 5726 Meadville Road, Kinzers, with the Reverend Micah Zimmerman and Lou Martin officiating.
