Mildred E. Wenner

Mildred E. Wenner, 73, of New Holland, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Zerbe Retirement Community after a brief illness.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carmella (Marano) Daniels. She was married 50 years on November 29 to Roger E. Wenner.

Mildred graduated from St. Maria Goretti High School in Philadelphia and later worked in with custodial services at Villanova University.

She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and enjoyed reading the Bible and watching EWTN.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Roger Wenner, Jr. of Drexel Hill; a daughter, Barbara, married to Eric Langlois of Pembroke, MA; two grandchildren, Shawn and Rachel Langlois; a sister, Dottie Powers; and two brothers, Richard and Joseph Daniels.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 3 at 1:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water St., New Holland, with Deacon Daniel Waloski officiating. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata. Viewing will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes on Monday from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.
