Miriam E. Sensenig, 95, of Fairmount Homes, formerly of Wanner Road, Ephrata, died Monday, February 6, 2017 at Fairmount Homes.
Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Fannie (Hurst) Wanner. Her husband, Clarence S. Sensenig, died March 11, 2013.
Miriam worked as a lunch lady and playground supervisor at the former Vocational School in Hinkletown.
She was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church and enjoyed quilting and sewing.
Surviving are 8 children, Judy, married to H. Lamar Sensenig of Leola, Glenn, married to Susan (Weaver) Sensenig of Ephrata, Miriam, widow of Homer Nolt of New Holland, Dorothy, married to Roy Reiff of Stevens, Joyce, married to Earl Eby of Denver, Geraldine, married to David Shirk of Martinsburg, Clarence Sensenig of Denver, and Barry, married to Debra (Futer) Sensenig of Terre Hill; 31 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is a daughter, Arlene Martin; and a granddaughter, Marsha Eby.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11 at 11 am at Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, with Eugene Weaver, Luke Weaver, and Javan Horst officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held at the church on Saturday from 9-11 am.
