Miriam R. Hartranft

Miriam R. Hartranft, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2017, with her husband of 64 years by her side.

Born on December 14, 1929 in Elstonville, Pa, she resided in Denver, Rt. 1. All her married life she was a homemaker and wife of Leon M. Hartranft. She was the daughter of Abram L. and Minnie H. (Ruhl) Huber.

She was the mother of 4 sons, Garry, Gerald, Randy, and Brian; 3 daughters, Donna, Carol, and Karen; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 8 grandpuppies; a brother, A. Eugene Huber; and 2 sisters, Dorothy Eckman and Doris Huber.

Preceding her in death are 2 sisters, Mary Jean Huber and Betty Martin.

The service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill with viewing from 9-10 am. A private interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Fritztown Road, Reading.
