Mona J. Hess

Mona Jean Hess, 56, of Leola, PA passed away on Friday, June 15, 2012. She was the daughter of William and Darlis (Allison) Treaster of Belleville, PA. In addition to her parents she is survived by her daughter Kara Lauren Hess of Lancaster, PA and her sister Roxanne Kauffman of Willow Street, PA. She was a graduate of Kishacoquillas High School and attended Eastern Mennonite University. She enjoyed being a homemaker and having a love for family law, she worked as a paralegal. She had a deep love for her Lord Jesus Christ and attended Ephrata Community Church. A lover of people, she had many friends whose lives she touched with her outgoing, caring and nurturing personality. She loved spending time with her family and her pets.

A celebration of Mona’s life will be held on Sunday, June 24, at 2:00pm at Ephrata Community Church, 70 Clay School Road, Ephrata, PA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with family immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of Lancaster, 2195 Lincoln Hwy.
