Myra Ann Harsh

Myra Ann Harsh, 85, of New Holland, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Harry H. Harsh who died in 2016. Born in Bird-In-Hand, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Minnie Englert Sweigart.

Myra had worked as a seamstress in the garment industry for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, coffee, country music, going to thrift stores with her sister, but her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, Harry E. husband of Jacqueline Harsh of Gordonville, and Ronald E. husband of Julie Harsh of New Holland; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Jean Mowrer of New Holland, and a brother, John husband of Linda Sweigart of Narvon. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jeremiah Harsh and by several siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at 11:00 A.M. at the Groff High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA. Interment in Zeltenreich’s Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
