Nancy B. Ault

Nancy B. Ault, 62, of Churchtown, PA, passed away peacefully at her residence, June 28, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was a life-long resident of Churchtown, the daughter of Mildred (Burkhart) Weaver of Garden Spot Village and the late Jacob F. Weaver.


She was a graduate of Garden Spot High School and earned an Associate’s Business Degree from Brandywine College in Wilmington, DE. She worked for Hess’ Department Store in Lancaster and was co-owner and operator of Churchtown Supply Co., a family owned business, from 1975 until the present. Her most important job was raising her two sons.


She enjoyed counted cross stitch, sewing, and traveling with her family and friends. She enjoyed sunrise walks along the beach and collecting seashells. She was an active volunteer in her community including the P.T.O., Boy Scouts of America, New Holland Swim Team, and the Churchtown Historical Society. She was a member of the Churchtown United Methodist Church where she formerly taught Vacation Bible School.


The most important thing in her life was her family and friends, especially her three grandchildren, Sophia, David and Ryan.


In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Barry R. Ault and her two sons, Jesse R. married to Amanda (Greene) Ault, Montross, VA, and Jacob R. married to Amy (Chandler) Ault, Leola.


A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Churchtown United Methodist Church, 2170 Main St., Churchtown with the Rev. Robert Pope officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Private interment will be in the United Methodist Cemetery of Churchtown. Kindly omit flowers. Please make checks payable to Johns Hopkins University and include "In memory of Nancy Ault" in the memo, or to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Attn: Donor Services, P.O.
