Nancy E. Burkhart

Nancy E. Burkhart, 75, of Narvon, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at Brandywine Hospital. She was the loving wife of William D. Burkhart, with whom she shared over 48 years of marriage.

Born in Ephrata, she was a daughter of the late David and Ella (Styer) Mast.

Nancy worked as a personal attendant and caregiver. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the cabin in Lycoming County, visiting Cape May NJ beaches, and spending time with her grand and great-grandchildren. She had also had the opportunity to travel over 250,000 miles back and forth across America by motorcycle with her husband. With all the places she had been, she enjoyed returning to her family and the serenity of her own front porch.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her son, David Means, husband of Margaret, of Narvon; her sister, Louise Hunsberger, wife of Robert, of Mohnton; two granddaughters: Christine Rojahn, wife of Chris, of Narvon, and Melissa Metzler, wife of Josh, of Terre Hill; four great-grandchildren: Connor, David, Adilynn, and Charlotte; and three nieces: Rachel, Becky, and Ellie.

Family & friends visitation will be held on Friday, August 4th, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the Eckenroth Home for Funerals, 209 E. Main St., Terre Hill PA 17581.
