Nancy M. Edwards

Nancy M. (Forney) Edwards, 80, of New Holland, passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 26, 2015. She was the wife of A. Fred Edwards, with whom she shared over 59 years of marriage.

Born in Palmyra, she was a daughter of the late Cyrus J. and Mary (Fornwalt) Forney.

Nancy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Millersville University and was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. A coffee enthusiast, she also enjoyed playing Bridge, reading, dancing, and traveling, especially to the shore.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by a daughter, Andrea Hiebert, wife of James, of Newark, DE; a sister, Virginia Dohner, wife of William, of York; and three granddaughters: Elena Bregier of Los Angeles, CA, Emily Bregier of Ferndale, MI, and Angela Edwards of Lancaster.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael F. Edwards.
