Nancy K. Good

Nancy K. Good, 55, of Lancaster, PA, went to be with “the Man upstairs”, her mom, daddy, brother and Spotty, her dog, on November 3, 2014, at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice & Community Care for their loving care and support of Nancy for the last week.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Lester G. and Ruth (Styer) Good. Nancy was a member of St. John’s Center United Church of Christ, East Earl.

Born with Down’s Syndrome, Nancy was a loving and gentle soul. She loved everyone and everyone loved her. On their many vacations, she made friends far and wide. Nancy worked at E.A.R.S. in Ephrata for many years. Her work was a very important part of her life.

In her spare time she enjoyed doing latchhook, coloring fuzzy posters and doing word find puzzles. She especially enjoyed playing UNO with family.

Nancy was a resident of a Keystone Human Services group home.

Her family would like to thank the staff of Keystone for the kind and loving care given to Nancy while she was with them. We appreciate them more than they will ever know.

Surviving is a sister Betty, wife of Carl Musser, Bowmansville, three nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester V. Good.

Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Center U.C.C., 432 Reading Road, East Earl, with the Rev. Bradley Haws officiating. Interment will be in the Bowmansville Union Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday from 9 – 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O.
