Nancy E. Zane

Nancy E. Zane, 35, of E. Jackson St., New Holland, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, October 3, 2013.

Born in Defiance, OH, she was the daughter of Thomas and Carolyn (Houck) Waddington both of New Holland.

Nancy was a homemaker and attended Ranck’s United Methodist Church. She loved taking care of her children.

Surviving in addition to her parents are three daughters, Alexis and Kathryn Zane and Aspen Ochs all at home; five sisters and a brother, Jennifer Hurdle of East Earl, Jo Waddington of New Holland, Samantha Waddington of New Holland, Zachary Waddington of New Holland, and Nicole Waddington of Springfield, MO; a step mother, Vicki Hainley of New Holland; a maternal grandmother, Betty Greaves-Wolf of Honey Brook; a fiancé, Dion Ochs of New Holland; along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 10 at 4 pm at Ranck’s United Methodist Church, 700 Ranck Road, New Holland with the Reverend Kevin Readman officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Groff-High Funeral Home, 145 W. Main St., New Holland, PA 17557 to assist the family with funeral expenses.
