Naomi R. Bowman

Naomi R. Bowman, 90, of Ephrata, formerly of East Earl, died Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Fairmount Homes. Her husband, P. Wilmer Bowman, preceded her in death in 2022.

Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Mary (Sauder) Martin.

Naomi was a homemaker and a member of Lichy Mennonite Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and being with her family. Grandchildren brought a special joy to her. She and her husband had also served for two years with Tidings of Peace Ministry.

Surviving are five children: Karen L. married to Irvin Weaver, Jr., Denver, Kathy J. married to David B. Nolt, East Earl, Brenda J. married to Darrel E. Witmer, Denver, Wilmer J. married to Carol A. (Eberly) Bowman, Narvon, and Randall L. married to Donna R. (Metzler) Bowman, Mohnton, 18 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, and seven siblings: Edith Weiler, Morgantown, Grace Reed, Denver, Earl Martin, New Holland, Landis Martin, Terre Hill, Mary Jane Sauder, Ephrata, Kenneth Martin, New Holland and Marlin Martin, New Holland.

She was preceded in death by a son, James Lamar Bowman, a brother Walter J. Martin, and twin sisters, Janice and Joyce Martin.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Lichty Mennonite Church. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until 2 p.m. Burial will be private in Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
