Nevin E. Bowman

Nevin E. Bowman, 72, of Denver, PA, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at Hospice & Community Care of Mt. Joy. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce H. (Shertzer) Bowman.

Born in Bowmansville, PA, he was the son of the late Aaron and Arlene (Leisey) Bowman. Nevin worked both as a landscaper and grounds caretaker. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, Nevin is survived by his daughter, Chrystle L. Muto, wife of Eugene P., of Austin, TX; two brothers, Aaron Bowman of Ephrata and Garry Bowman of Fivepointville; a sister-in-law, Vickie Shertzer of Quarryville; a grandson, Eugene Christian Muto; and a great-grandson, Chase Nevin Bowman. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Cynthia M. Bowman; a brother, Ronald Bowman; and a grandson, Jeremiah L. Bowman.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene of Ephrata, 110 Durlach Road, Ephrata, PA 17522. Interment will be held in the Pine Grove Mennonite Cemetery of Bowmansville. Viewing will be held at the Church on Saturday from 9-11 AM.
