Noah N. Sensenig 91, of Ephrata, formerly of Quarryville, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Lincoln Christian Home. He was the husband of the late Esther Weaver Sensenig who died July 5, 2024.
Born in Gordonville, he was the son of the late John and Mary Nolt Sensenig.
Noah was a retired farmer and a member of Fairmount Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.
Surviving are 11 children: Glenda married to Robert S. Weaver, New Providence, Dorothy married to Lewis W. Martin, New Holland, Roy married to Mabel Sensenig, Nottingham, Rose married to Lester Horning, Ephrata, Nancy married to Edwin Horning, Ephrata, Robert married to Gladys Sensenig, Quarryville, Edwin married to Sharon Sensenig, Quarryville, Alvin married to Dorothy Sensenig, Richland Center, WI, Mary married to John Stoltzfus, Manheim, Gerald married to Bobbi Jo Sensenig, Lititz, David married to Shana Sensenig, Peach Bottom, 56 grandchildren, 135 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and 5 siblings; Frances married to Harlan Martin, Evelyn Snyder, Melvin married to Phoebe Ann Sensenig, Verna married to Leon Burkholder, and Esther married to Lloyd Fox; a brother-in -law, Titus Burkholder and a sister-in-law, Pauline Sensenig.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harold, a son-in-law, Dean Nolt, a daughter-in-law, Linda Nolt Sensenig. three great grandchildren, and 8 siblings, Anna, Barbara, Mary Etta, Ruth, John, Milton, David and Erma.
The family wants to extend appreciation to Lincoln Christian Home for the compassionate care they extended to Dad.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, July, 25, 2024, at 10 A.M. at Pequea Mennonite Church with Bishop Curvin Zimmerman, Clair Hurst, Delmar Nolt, and Anthony Martin officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewings will be held at Fairmount Homes, Farm Crest Chapel on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland in charge of arrangements.
