Nora M. Hoover

Nora M. Hoover, 58, of 580 Reidenbach Rd., New Holland, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, July 25, 2014.

Born in Earl Twp., she was the daughter of Ben F. and Mary (Martin) Hoover, with whom she resided.

Nora was a housekeeper and a member of New Holland Old Order Mennonite Church.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers: Mahlon married to Martha Hoover, Ephrata and Frank married to Laura Hoover, New Holland; six sisters: Etta, at home; Susie married Clarence Reiff, East Earl; Sarah married to Walter Martin, Penn Yan, NY; Ruth married to Henry Martin, New Holland,; Mary married to Paul Martin, New Holland, Alice married to Reuben Weaver, East Earl; and 38 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Hoover.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 30 at 9 a.m. at her late home with further services at 9:30 a.m. at New Holland Mennonite Church with Bishop Titus Martin officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. A viewing will be held at her late home on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers. The Groff-High Funeral Home, New Holland, is in charge of arrangements.
