Nora Z. Martin

Nora Z. Martin, 91, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Lincoln Christian Home. Nora was born in New Holland, PA, to her late parents, David H. and Emma H. (Zimmerman) Sensenig. Her husband, the late Isaac W. Martin, passed away on July 3, 2014.

Nora was a homemaker and enjoyed being surrounded by her many loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gardening was a past time that she enjoyed greatly. She was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church (Lancaster Conference).

Nora is survived by her children; Glenda M. Weaver wife of Leon, of Ephrata, Eugene S. Martin husband of Rhoda, of Ephrata, Janet S. Fox wife of Stanley, of Ephrata, James L. Martin husband of RoseAnn, of Akron, Charlene S. Mellinger, of Ephrata, Jerry S. Martin husband of Carleen, of Ephrata, Randy S. Martin husband of Jody, of Denver, and daughter-in-law Karla Martin. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 96 great grandchildren, and her siblings, Vera Hoover, Earl Ray Sensenig, Earla Mae Burkholder, and Lloyd Sensenig.

In addition to her husband and parents, Nora was predeceased by her son, Isaac S. Martin, three infant great grandchildren, and seven siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Martindale Mennonite Church, 171 Hurst Road, Ephrata, PA, with Pastor Daryl Weaver will officiating. Viewings will be held from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Martindale Mennonite Fellowship Center, 352 Martindale Road, Ephrata, PA, and on Monday morning at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service. Interment will immediately follow the funeral at The Martin Family Cemetery, New Holland.
