Norma E. Moore

Norma E. Moore, 93, of 41 Newport Ave., Christiana, formerly of 5621 Meadville Road, Gap, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana with her daughter at her side. Born in Salisbury Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Blanche (Simmons) Sollenberger. Her husband, H. Robert Moore, died in 1993. Norma was a homemaker and a member of Bridgeville Evangelical Congregational Church where she was active in the Missionary Society, choir, hand bell choir, and for many years served as church organist. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Surviving is a son, R. Lee Moore of Leola; a daughter, Jean Lintner of Gap; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin, married to Kathryn (Gretzke) Sollenberger of New Holland, and Harold, married to Dorothy (Studd) Sollenberger of Blue Ball; and a brother-in-law, Reynolds Williams of Fairmount Homes. Preceding her in death is a sister, Helen Williams. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18 at 11 am at Mt. Airy E.C. Church, 480 Springville Road, New Holland, PA with the Reverend Melvin Stehr officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 10-11 am at the Church.
