Norma D. Weber, 76, of Orchard Road, Reinholds, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Dec. 11, 2012, at Lancaster General Hospital. She is survived by her husband Leon S. Weber to whom she would have been married 57 years on March 10th.
Born in Alleghenyville, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Catherine (Kissinger) Frees.
A homemaker, she was active and dedicated to her church, Zion Mennonite Church, Birdsboro, where she served on the kitchen committee.
Norma enjoyed gardening, cooking, her grandchildren and birdwatching.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Randy, married to Ronda (Sauder) Weber, Harrisonburg, VA, Annette, married to Sam Gehman, Reinholds, David, married to Alexandra (Loeffler) Weber, Reinholds, and Beth, married to Curt Witman, East Earl; 19 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister Alberta Lutz, Denver.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Zion Mennonite Church, 582 Zion Road, Birdsboro, with Pastor Steve Musselman officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9 – 10 a.m. at the church. If desired, memorials may be made to Zion Mennonite Church Mission Fund.
